Kristin Agnello RPP, MCIP

With a multidisciplinary background in fine arts, architecture, planning, and urban design, Kristin brings a balanced understanding of the relationship between the physical and social environment to her work.  Her ability to integrate community dynamics, urban form and economic realities has enabled her to create and implement practical solutions to a variety of urban development challenges.  Kristin’s work spans a variety of scales; she has prepared urban design visions, written and reviewed municipal policies, managed RFP processes, and completed extensive research on view protection and development incentive guidelines and policies.

With her planning and policy work rooted in the arts, Kristin has a particular interest in the social and cultural legacy of urban spaces.  She firmly believes that public and private interests must work in unison to create great places which, in turn, empower people to create opportunities for themselves and others.

Whether planning and designing a cultural district, civic square, inner city neighbourhood, or new community, her goal is to create engaging and distinctive environments that foster community through a strong sense of identity.
